Biography
Schuyler Ranson DeBarthe Grant was born on April 29, 1971, in Los Gatos, California, delivered by her father, John "Jack" Grant and the daughter of Ann Grant. She is the grand niece of screen legend Katharine Hepburn. She has a brother, Jason, who is an environmentalist. Before going into the movies, Schuyler's was involved in school plays when she was younger, but her first real gig was playing Diana in Anne of Green Gables, after which she could no longer live as a "normal kid." She went to Columbia University where she majored in history and minored in theatre. Schuyler has also studied both jazz and modern dance. Also, she can speak Spanish and French fluently. If she wasn't an actress, she would have liked to have gone into politics. She would to be more politically active in the future. Schuyler is now married to Jeff Krasno, a jazz musician, and strives to have a healthy balance between her career and family.
